Michael Maggard
Started studying the Martial Arts in 1986, and Switched styles a couple of times
before finding the AKKA in 1996. Started in Las Cruces under Mr. Steve McCoy
and went to Orange Belt. When Mr McCoy moved to Tor C, Mr. Art Baca from
Albuquerque took over and taught me to Blue Belt. Then, Mr. Marc Scoggin took
over and taught me to first degree Black belt. Mr. Scott Yurcic then taught me to
3rd Degree Black Belt.
I have been instructing in AKKA for over 7 years. In 1999, My Wife Denise and I
took over the Las Cruces School and have owned it since.
